The WCC Art Gallery is pleased to present our upcoming Spring exhibition, Black, White, and Gold, by Shoshanna Weinberger

Opening on Monday, January 22, with a reception on Thursday, February 1, at 4 pm.
The exhibition includes Weinberger's painting exploring "the complexity of heritage, beauty norms, and the psychology of peripheral identity," as well as new laser-cut and 3D-printed sculptural work.

Shoshanna Weinberger is a Caribbean-American artist, born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in the US.
She holds an MFA from Yale University, School of Art (2003) and a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1995).
Based in Newark, NJ since 2006, her work reflects on her heritage and addresses themes of identity and beauty norms through various mediums, including paintings, collage, installation, and sculpture.
